Dave, A big thank you to you and Amy for preparing and delivering a fantastic weekend in Barcelona. Today I have received emails saying it was one of the best people had been on and certainly destroyed each member of the team. I will be boasting your name to anyone else who has the misfortune of having to arrange a large weekend in Spain!

Horse Riding
 |
Sun, mountains, olive groves, country tracks and beautiful sea views. Is there a more fitting way to see all this other than on horseback in the Andalusian countryside? Enjoy all this from the saddle on a horse trekking excursion in the mountains behind the famous luxury resort of Marbella.
Whether you fancy yourself as Frankie Dettori or admit to being a complete beginner, the horse riding school has horses and routes to suit you. This day out with a difference is something to be enjoyed, and if you've never been in the saddle before you'll wonder why you didn't try horse riding earlier. |
You can take an equine trek through some amazing scenery, and stop to enjoy a typical Andalusian lunch to refuel and relax, then get on that horse and "ride him in, cowboy!" Or, if you prefer a shorter ride, have an hour's horse riding to learn and practice your horse mastery!
With the weather in the Malaga region being famously good all-year-round, this is an ideal activity for any time of the year. Hats and other equipment are provided, but remember that you will need to wear long trousers (to protect your legs from the saddle and stirrups) and as always, sun cream in the summer (May - Oct) and a warm jumper or light jacket in the winter (Dec-Mar). |

Senor Stag's Suggestion #1:
It's important you wear comfortable long trousers. If you wear shorts you will get really bad chaffing on your legs.
Senor Stag's Suggestion #2:
In the summer, it will be hot so make sure you put on plenty of sun block!
